frequently asked questions

Q.  Can anyone do the Skid Avoidance course?
A.  You must be able to drive a manual car and have at least a provisional UK driving licence.  Minimum height is 1.52m (5') and maximum height is 1.97m (6'6').  Maximum weight is 115kg (18 stone).  We do not recommend this course for pregnant women or people with neck injuries.

Q.  How many people are on the course at any one time?
A.  Each session is shared by 3 people - so each gets about 40 min individual driving time.

Q.  Can sectators attend?
A.  Yes, spectators are welcome.

Q.  I am quite a nervous driver will I be able to cope?
A.  Most certainly!  Our experience shows us that nervous drivers tend to listen very carefully to the instructions and can therefore learn very quickly and really enjoy their new found driving confidence.

Q.  How long does the course take?
A.  2 hours.
